So MWEB is offering us an unbelievable offer of R89 / Month for 1 Gig of data. Additional data is available at 22c / MB or R220 / Gig. You can however buy a Booster pack of 1.5 Gig for only R99.

If anyone is stupid enough to go for this, they dont deserve to have money.

Mweb has always offered packages to the value-plus customer. Someone who doesnt just want a gig and nothing else. That price therefore includes wifi access, email, webmail, other research centers on the site, AVG antivirus license blah blah

So yeah, they're not a gigabyte-only reseller and some people see value in paying for that.
