For the last week im having huge problems with intermittent dropping of my line. A mate of mine who lives about 3kms away is having the same problem. We are both on telkom 4mb line. Telkom say everything fine, anyone else having problems in this area? it basically drops every 30 - 60 mins and stays down for about 10mins. when its up speeds are good though.

Mate of mine also in Toti - same thing, he is with Mweb.

Try change your Router settings to G.DMT.. That is sometimes more stable than ADSL2+.

thanks for some feedback, im also with MWEB but they say speak to Telkom as there side is fine. They also say the need "lots" of complaints to investigate further...

My mate logged a fault again and they say that they are busy with some type of upgrades but who knows. You never get a straight answer with them
