Amazing service from Telkom

All i can say is wow!

I applied for an ADSL service on 22 November 2007 with a self install option.
They called me today 25 November 2007 to say it's active.
Can't complain about that!

I don't find that impressive in the least. Sure, it is impressive by contrast. But that sort of service should be standard, not a once in a lifetime thing...

You cannot generalise....
This is my second ADSL line I've installed at another premises.
I have had absolutely no problems with ADSL except downtime once for 2 hours following a bad storm.

I, in fact gave up on Vodacom's 3G when I could only connect at GPRS speeds at the office despite a new tower installed 30 metres away from me!!

daim your lucky i waited about 3 months for my 1st line another 2 when i move it has been down at least 4 times for a week or more. and now im being overcharged
