Hi All. Which would be better for voice recognition for a blind person. I haven't used any so i am not sure on any of these. Mostly for telling the time or playing music from youtube and maybe asking for the news.

Maybe this is the wrong place to ask this question but as nobody else has replied... Alexa is not natively supported but there are work arounds in place so I have my Sonos working well with her. She is not always on the ball with random questions, but setting timers for cooking, which I assume would be equivalent to telling time, playing music, she works very well. Google I cant compare so thats why I never replied initially.

Use the Google Assistant on an Android phone to see how it respond to your questions and instructions. Works well if the person speaks reasonably clearly.

You can test either using your phone but the experience, at least with Alexa, is very different.
