Right, so we all know that as South Africans we are usually unable to buy Android apps from either the Android Marketplace and also now from the Amazon.com AppStore. Usually. I'd like to know if there's a way around these restrictions without violating (stupid) laws or regulations too badly to do so.

By too badly, I mean by not having to forge an identity. I'm OK with giving a false address (well not really - it still makes me queasy, but I can sleep at night).

Seriously? 52 views and not a single person knows how to buy apps for the Android?

Well since you gone and say legal you just answered yourself. Unless you buy from the developers direct. I have 2 apps that I contacted the developers direct and they where happy to sell me their app directly without going via the market.

I also bought games from http://www.gameloft.com/

Oh the Amazon store is US Only so rest of the world in the same boat as us.
