So I've just ordered one of these to play around with ... where can I download the genuine APK?
Or is there a way to fake my location on the app store, download it, and then change back?

Also wondering what happens to updates either way?
Would I still get them?

There's still something telling me I'm not in US. I've tried both Tunnelbear and Opera ... Try both connect to US successfully and when I check my IP, it is definitely US.

But still telling me the app is not in my country

Try something like that? It links to country specific version of the play store. I think that should take you to the US store. Replace USA with AU for the Australian one.
