Amazon fire TV Stick Remote alternative

After less than a month with my Amazon Fire Tv Stick, my daughter drops mine a glass of water, and now it does not work (Keeps the bome button pressed) tried drying it, opening it up and wiping off the board, still nothing.

Besides the App on my Phone, what other device can i get locally to replace it (it can only be purchased on the Amazon site, from the UK - 2 to 3 months shipping time)

Please point me in the right direction, im not a huge fan of the using my phone as the remote with the App, i want an actual remote.

Next time electronics get submerged in liquid just make sure you remove any batteries first, then leave it in a warm, dry environment for at least 48 hours. Some people like using a bowl of uncooked rice (because it's a natural desiccant). Wiping off any internal electronics is not going to help squat, the moisture must be removed completely.
