Amazon Gift Cards cannot be used to pay subscription fees.


I subscribed to a 12month Magazine for kindle on my iPad2 in January, since then I have been topping up my Amazon Gift card balance, this morning I decide to see when I will be billed since you get 30 days to try out the magazine first.

and now this.......Amazon Gift Cards cannot be used to pay subscription fees.
So you can pay for everything else with gift cards except magazine subscriptions?
