I don't give a FLAC.
Could you share a few files for sampling?Make my own LP rips, have around 5500 LP's on the rack, and around 1300 CD's.
Time consuming, but worth it, most times, at 24/96 , tho I generally prefer 16/44.1

I’d really like to check if it’s something I would been keen on
I see. It would be nice of you to share that file.Well, if you do not have good turntable with a phone stage that has a very low noise floor, into a good audio interface, then the results are not going to be worthwhile.
Will see about putting a track up on Dropbox that you can download. I think it is decently good, and if you listen carefully, you will hear the odd tick or two, occasionally.

I am not very clued up with the ripping of vinyls. I have a Macintosh mt2 on a Sumiko blue point 2 needle. Not sure if that’s good enough is as far as the noise reduction is concerned.

Thanks mate. The Marantz PM10 phono stage got nice reviews as well. So I think the gear is the only thing I would have to worry aboutNot familiar with the Macintosh Turntable, but it should be good. Macintosh are not usually makers of poor gear. Sumiko Blue Point is a good cartridge as well, if you can couple that to a good phono stage with low noise floor, you should be good to go. Then you need a good audio interface, and recording software, and lots of time, and you can play to your hearts content.
Not a fan of software noise removal as you cannot take something away, without losing something. But judicious use can sometimes be acceptable.
Will transfer the file to my laptop later and upload to Dropbox and send you a link to download.

I appreciate all the help
