Amazon payment question.

Hi
I bought something from Amazon.uk but the only transaction appearing on my app is Purchase CNP - R18.33. And posting date says Unprocessed. Did I do something wrong?
 
Looks like they're just validating your card details first (GBP transaction)......if it doesn't get flagged by the bank (or marked by you as fraud) they'll probably process your order.

First time you add a payment card they will deduct £1/$1 to check if the card is valid and then refund it back.

How long will validating the info take?

But I added the card about a week ago and only used it for the first time today. Maybe they deduct when you use it for the first time and not when it is added.
 
Did you pay for the item? The transaction will only appear as pending on your credit card transaction history. I'm with FNB so not sure how other banks show pending credit card transactions.

The only transaction that appears is the £1 test one. And I'm using a Capitec card. Didn't have problems using it on STEAM or paying through Paypal.
 
Quick update. The order went through and the amount was deducted from my account. Still haven't received the refund for the 1£ test transaction though.
