What's amazon prime supposed to cost each month?

When I google it, it seems like it's $5.99

I have signed up via my amazon account, set my location to RSA, but it seems like I am going to be billed $12.99?

Is the 12.99 not for the USA localized content?

You may of accidently signed up for Amazon Prime instead of Amazon Prime Video

Yep, probably not the right subscription. I had Amazon Prime Video for 3 months with their discounted trial period thing, and the full price they warned was looming wasn't much. I pretty much never watched anything on the service though so cancelled.

Amazon Prime is supposed to cost $12.99 per month or $99 per year but you don't want that. What you want is Prime Video. See the above link.

Unless you're getting free delivery on your packages Amazon Prime is an unnecessary waste of money. Sign up for the local service.

Actually just signed up for GT but keep forgetting to cancel or they sneak in the subs before I realize

Without US VPN you get 1/8 th of titles . With vpn and primevideo account you get 8x more including some HBO series.

Amazon prime SA = 1619 titles
Amazon prime US = 13323 titles
