Hi Guys.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, if it is even new (though I only noticed it now), but I've discovered Amazon has begun shipping a lot more than what I'm used to to SA.

Just some items I noticed were any type of computer component I clicked on (Hard Drives, Graphics Cards, Cases, etc), monitors and any desktop printer I clicked on. I'm sure there are a ton more other items I'm just too lazy to go look.

Sadly though, laptops and desktops are still not shipped here.

Just a heads up ... sorry if it has been mentioned before or not new.

Regards

Itai

Oh, and it now shows you in the item page itself whether it ships to South Africa or not ... no more having to go all the way to the checkout to find out :) ... Long overdue!!

That bit of functionality is massively overdue. This is excellent news in general though.

You can also use the AmazonGlobal Eligible filter following your search result.

think it still comes down to whether or not it is the actual company selling the item, that does international shipping.

there are also cases where it is sold by another place, but then it states that it is done via Amazon as well, which then in a lot of cases, enables it to be done internationally.
