So, seems are aren't a single account like Netflix and I got whacked with a ton bills because I didn't know what I was doing. Also Prime video is different to Prime and ... I don't know.

Anyhow - am I right in saying Amazon US is $8.99 for video only and UK is 5.99 for video only?
So R120.00 (US) vs R100.00 (UK)?

I'm guessing US is best to join as they probably have more content ?

Depending which store you using rather sign up on the US Store as the U.K. Store will only allow you to watch the U.K. Prime Content which means the US store has 7200 prime titles where as U.K has much less. Also remember Amazon does region checking per video so if you not in the region it won't play the titles not available in your region even if you signed up on the US Amazon store.

Sure they are. I have US Amazon on one Roku and UK Amazon on another, both using the same (US) account. Doesn't have to be that complicated as I'm sure you can just hop regions like you used to be able to do with Netflix.

I was charged by both. Didn't work like Netflix. I was actually charged a 3rd time too (£79). But they reversed the US charge and the monthly £££

Why did you sign up for Amazon Prime in the UK in the first place when you can get Prime Video from SA?m:confused:

Since you won't be able to take advantage of most of the Amazon Prime benefits - free shipping, etc - there's no need.

When I initially signed up, it wasn't available locally. I signed up when the first episode of Grand Tour came out

If you've cancelled both the US and the UK sign up for the SA one.

nah the region hop is quite nasty.

Mine is still a mix - seems to have only partially migrated me & now half the stuff doesn't work.

Store >>> UK
Prime >>> UK
Music >>> US
Storage >>> US

That's all under the same login

I just want video.

I've removed all payments from every store I have been in ... and want to sign up to one.
