MyBroadband tested the same-day shipping from Takealot and the newly launched Amazon South Africa, and both e-commerce companies performed very well.

Amazon launched their South African marketplace on 7 May 2024, competing with Takealot with a wide product range and quick, reliable, hassle-free shopping.

Price will still be the main factor. Quite a bit cheaper for this item on Amazon and the packaging far cheaper on Amazon. Takealot will be taking strain in the next few months with Amazon and Temu starting up.

I will definitely be giving Amazon a look. Had nothing but dismal levels of customer service from Takealot. They make changing a delivery address make Mission Impossible a cake walk in comparison(said items were not yet shipped.)

At least takealot does deliver! Amazon promised next day delivery and when the time comes to deliver you get an email, oops sorry there was a problem with shipping your order will be delivered two weeks later!!! Wow had to know it was to good to be true!!! Stick with takelot!!!
