My loved ones will be spending Xmas in New Jersey with their beloved in-laws again this year. Hope there's still something left for us to send to them, lol. The in-laws were very lucky and they were spared from any damage that was wrecked by "Superstorm Sandy".
i prefered the way e-Bay has the shopping cart set out and i loved being able to bid as anyone in the US would have, even if it was just a brief week of fun right here from South Africa, because i had a US address and someone to forward the goods on to me, but that's in the past tense. The user interface on e-Bay was great and i will miss having lots of windows open and constantly refreshing the screen, to slam in a bid during the festive season of 2010. One problem i had was that in order to change the delivery address i had to write to e-Bay and PreyPal to find out why this was not possible. The Country field wouldn't allow a delivey address different from the Credit card information. Don't know if i was just one among the many who asked for this, but my wish was granted within 12 hours of the motivation. i believe it became standard implementation from then on.
Anyone know if one can have a delivery address other than the Credit card information with Amazon? Otherwise, i will just have to try my motivation letter thing again, or find and send flowers, or find a hamper vendor, or something with an online store that does allow it, if there is such a beast? Unfortunately, it won't be such a nice thoughtful gift, but i only get stuffed around once and will NEVER use PreyPal ever again, not even with a gun to my head. What do i need a stupid middle man for anyway? i'm just a Credit card shopper taking advantage of a situation, that may happen only twice in a lifetime.
So how's it going with Amazon dot coza? Any idea when the smoke and mirrors will be up and the dome is cast over us, yet?
