AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 CPU Review

the fx57 is around R9000! here locally at the wholesalers.... think thats what this chip is going to cost... fx-57 will drop. but like they have pointed out better wait for the new amd boards and chips

z5500 for R1400? geez that damn cheap. trust me you wont be disappointed. got harmon/kardon sound in my car and it does not come close to comparing to those logitechs.

It runs at 2.6Ghz for both cores.

BTW what does the 4400+ price? You could run it at 2.6Ghz and save yourself a boatload!

Priced it at 2 places for R3700 and R4000 so I am happy I am getting it for R1400. Getting it from Dubai If I had to buy it here there would be no chance!

Thats what it says on pricelist. BTW the 4400 is 3295 incl

Z5500 are 1900 here

I have the 4400+ Toledo so I think with some decent cooling I can get it up to 2.6 quite easily. Runs fine at 2.4Ghz

I was pleased to see that in the Business Winstone, Worldbench, Quicktime creation, Quake and Multimedia Creation tests, even my dinky little X2 3800+ thrashed the top-of-the-line Pentium EE 955.
 
Yep not arguing,just stating the headroom on the FX series would be greater than that of your current CPU.

BTW when you gonna give up that 6800?Waiting for the right time I guess?
As to maxing out the CPU......depends on what cooling you running eh,hehe,now ln2 OR DICE would be a diffrent story no?

I spose it goes unsaid though,as does the difference between 24/7 and straight benching.
 
Im waiting too for next gen gfx so that birdy better blady be correct or ill ring that birdies neck
