whats the difference between the e8200 and q6600? i have seen it as low as 300 bucks

E8200 2.6Ghz 45nm - R1299
E8400 3.0Ghz 45nm - R1458
Q6600 2.4Ghz 65nm - R1599

Apparently the newer 45nm cores run cooler, thus allowing for better overclocking? I'm not looking to overclock really, so it's not a selling point for me.
