Hi Guys,
Does anyone know what nvidia gpu this can be in comparison with?
This is in my laptop and I cannot upgrade but I don't know amd gpus and only nvidia.
It is a 4gb gpu

We're going to need more than that. There are many 4Gb GPUs out there. Have you got a model number (go to device manager)
The Radeon 530 it's in the title, it's a really low entry chip

will i be able to play any newer games on low settings. The laptop is decent accept the gpu. its a 8th gen i5
The Radeon 530 was an entry level mobile GPU released over 3 years ago.

Not sure how well it will run modern titles at low settings, but might be able to play some games at lower settings / resolutions. You won't know until you try though...

My laptop also has the Intel UHD 620 gpu. I read on the net that this is better than the radeon 530 and the UHD 620 is better than the GT710.

All the games i have tried that i own like warcraft 3 or now reforged and mirrors edge, fear3. All work fine. Mirrors edge and warcraft take about 3 minutes to start up and go into a game but When its in the game everything is fine. Could this be because i only have 4gb ram? I am using origin and battle.net for those 2 games

Ive had some good results on a Vega 8 iGPU, which is roughly double the speed of the Radeon 530, by good results I mean playable 30+ FPS on decent settings with some newish games, so if that's anything to go by then I think 15fps - 20 fps is roughly what you can expect... but then again you could probably crank out some extra frames by using Afterburner and downtune the quality, suppose you will have to experiment a bit for yourself.

Nvidia equivalent would be between a GT 440 (which is 50% weaker) and a GTS 450 (which is ~30% stronger), a GTX 460 would be twice as strong.
Those cards are from 2010/11.

To put that into context, a GTX 1060 is ~3-4x stronger than the GTX 460 which is twice as strong as your 530.
That's without counting the fact that the CPU of the 530 is probably crap.

If you want to put it into context in mobile/laptop, the current worst laptop GPU is the GTX 1650 Mobile Max Q (unless you consider e.g. the 1050/1050 Ti as being current generation) and that's 3-4x faster.
If you need a GPU to compare to see if it runs, look for things that can run on Intel HD 6000/6100, it's the equivalent.
