The fans on my Sapphire Rx 560 GPU started getting noisy yesterday. Where would I start looking for replacement fans?

aliexpress used to be my go to place. But since covid and our useless post office miraculously becoming even more useless, aliexpress no longer does post office delivery which makes fan replacement costs uneconomical.

Try contacting the distributors,

ebay

Thanks, Aliexpress is a bugger in the current situation. Will contact Frontosa.

Will check ebay as well, happy with the card, otherwise, so would rather not have to buy another.

this is what I done, working very well so far
3D print a plan

If you don't come right with the two distributors contact sapphire directly and ask them if they can help you, i've had companies directly help out like that by simply shipping me a part from the US gratis. Last one was corsair.

I once used a 100mm case fan with a rough and ready spacer made fom a piece of 3mm PVC sheet I had handy. Did not look good, but worked. Lost fancy speed control, but yeah, beggers cannot choosers be.

Would rather not go that route, but it remains an option.

I’ve kept all the fan control functionality

Did that once long long ago, and got some very weird value fuses for an amplifier that way. Will try, the distributors first and see how it goes thanks for the suggestion.

What fan did you use there

The one that came with my amd processor ( cpu is using a aio liquid kit)

Some googling for the tach and pwm colour codes and put it all together

Some context as to why I broke the warranty seal on a in warranty card

I was tired of the run around the supplier of the card was giving me, the old fan made noises similar to a clicking hard drive, they would clean it and send it back saying it’s fixed, when it wasn’t, eventually I had a “hold my beer and watch this” moment

So my guess that it was a cpu fan was good, tho why the need for colour pwm codes?

i never used the fan, so yeah, it was good,

the one on the GPU had a totally different colour code to the cpu fan, one was green , yellow, white and blue, and the other red, black, orange and something else , this was done some time ago

Okay this fan does not have a fancy pants multi-colour lights setup. Just plain black plastic, the way I prefer it. So need not worry about that then.
