Anyone got some "old" socket A CPU for sale that they dont need?
I'm in JHB - Randburg area...
Need a Anthlon XP 2800+ to replace for my stepmom before she find out!
or anything from 2400 to 2800, she wont notice! hehe

hey person, if you find a bunch of extra socket A chips, could you maybe let me know aswell, i'v got a extra socket A mobo, and i can put it to good use if i can just find a chip for not too much.

Well didnt do much. She's using my 2000+ XP chip now.
And I'm using my old celeron 600 machine....u have no idea how long it takes to load windows or anything...

I too am looking for AMD Athlon XP processor Socket A (not sempron, not 64). I'm currently running a 2000+ XP chip now and need a 2600+, 2800+, 3000+ or 3200+ processor chip, please PM me or let me know where I can purchase one !!! Thanks !
