AMD64 X2 mobo compatibility

I was just wondering, are there any 939 boards in which a 939 X2 won't work? I know some boards require a BIOS update, but I'm just wondering whether there are any in which an X2 wont work at all.

Not AFAIK. Unless the manufacturer of the board in question went bust or something and never added support for it.
