You need to ask yourselves why would the majority of black South African's prefer a corrupt ANC govt to the other parties. Clearly there are substantial numbers of black South African's who are angry about lack of service delivery, nepotism etc.
The fact that the most recent attempt at an alternative to the ANC, i.e COPE, attracted ex-Convicts to their ranks should tell you something about the alternatives. The DA will never be regarded as an alternative because they took in NAT's.
The ANC will never be challenged because they always manage to paint the alternatives as worse than they are. There is a serious danger that some elements of ANC will realise that in order to remain in power they need to ensure that a substantial majority are kept poor and badly educated so that they can always be manipulated by fear politics. Maybe this is already happening.
The only way to fight corruption is to improve education and reduce poverty. Obviously, then, the reverse applies and the best way to entrench yourself in power is ensure poor people remain badly educated. White South African's should be doing all they can to fight this by lifting as many balck South Africans out of poverty as possible and improving education. Dont rely on the govt to do this as clearly, it is not in their interersts at the moment.
