Amp

Connections are not so much the issue as converting them is easy. Finding the right amp to fit your speaker resistance and volume capacity is... Make sure you take something a little weaker than the rating of your speakers with just the right Ohm settings...

Where can I get an amp that will support my old NAD speakers? They don't use plugs, but rather screws to secure the connection. Do modern amps have there connections?

DO NOT buy an amp with a little less power...very bad. You'll get distortion and that'll blow your speakers for sure.Always buy a little more watts per channel.

Make sure of your speakers output and ohms.A typical setting is 8ohms but make sure. You do not look for an amp with the right ohms, you look in the amps' specs for the output watts for your speakers ohms, probably 8 ohms. There should normally be output specs for 2/4/8 ohms.

So if you have 2 100w 8 ohms speakers i'll suggest a 120-150w @ 8 ohms amp

ps:If you have dual drivers in your speakers your ohms change depending on how its wired.
