So lots of folks here know about the basics of my life and my illness.

My whole world changed in a matter of days.

I was contacted by a previous employer and a meeting was set up. The company offered me substantially more than I am currently earning. I will be finishing at my current place of work this coming week and will be moving to another town within walking distance of work (my feet are my vehicle) into a great 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom flat, large kitchen and living room, within a complex.

I am a Christian and therefore I praise God for these blessings and for everything His Hand brought to me.

None of this was expected and hasn't yet sunk in fully.

The company knows about my condition and the fact that I have to stay medicated daily. They fully support me and it's open books with them.

One of my great friends (not a Christian) also received great news just before me with regards to his future and employment and I am posting this merely as motivation for anyone else out there that is struggling in life. The correct doors will open. Everything will work out. Just hold firm and be content with what you have right now. One of these days you will be blessed with more than you ever thought possible.

Thanks,
tera ;) :D :p

Glad to hear things have worked out for you but suggesting that one sits on their laurels and waits for something happens goes against the grain for me. People need to get off their behinds and make things happen - especially if they're responsible for the welfare of others. Just my 2¢.

Again - glad things are working out for you. :)

Thanks bwana,

I am in no way suggesting people sit back and don't work in life, far from it. I worked my rear off at the place I am currently. I did not sit back. I would not have had the new job (previous employer), without the current one (where I finish this week).

You can't expect a lap dance if you don't pay. You can't pay if you don't work :D

I'm glad to hear the good news, I remember you working hard on your applications.

Hey Tera! I am so happy for you!! Glad to hear that things are finally looking up for you!! Congratulations, and I wish you all the best!!! I know you will do great :)

Awesome news tera my son, I know you were struggling for a long time and its great to hear things are looking up for you :)

Oh, and stay away from Nicci, she went knife shopping today.... :p

Lol Bunny! I had to go do some serious knife shopping - my whole cutlery drawer with all my stuff went missing during the move, so I had to go buy new ones :p

Thanks guys ;) :D :p

I'm paying a fair amount for the new place I will be renting. Do you guys think it would be wise if I rent out a room to someone else to save on costs?

I will make a rule that it's every man for himself with regards to food. Water and lights can be split in half.

Nicci can bring her knives over if they don't play ball :p

That is good idea Tera, but be careful, it's not easy finding the perfect housemate.

Yep, I'd prefer it if a young single guy rents from me. I don't want my house to be a crash pad for the housemate and his friends. I'll take it slow for now.

I'm happy for you but if it was me all praise would be going to those at the company that actually made a change to your life.

Congrats.

I do wonder who had a hand in his success then though.... ;)

Congratulations man! enjoy, stay strong in your faith as well and be more blessed and windows of Heaven will be opened for you and there will not be enough room to receive them. That is exactly what you are testifying about here, what a great way to start the new year. Give praises unto the Most High.
