So what can we expect on Wednesday from Apple HQ? Here’s the most possible of the thumb-sucks:
New iPods…

These are pretty much a given. This has become a bit of a September tradition with Christmas just around the corner. Also, true to form, Apple can be expected to honour their posters which focus purely on an iPod and it’s music. In the past Apple have hidden clues in their posters such as new apps, app changes, even launch dates – where the iCal date was the eventual date that the iPhone saw daylight. So a new range, possibly with a built in camera and maybe just maybe the porting over of the Touch and iPhone OS across the range? Nano and Shuffle sales have flatlined while the Classic seems to be taking even more strain, so there may be a cut in the product line.

New iTunes…

Apple have included a music tease in the promo posters, many believe this alludes to iTunes changes. Last year saw the release of the Genius function which I absolutely love! This year there are rumours of social media support such as Last.FM, Facebook or Twitter. HD rental for everyone except South Africans is also a likely announcement. Also, one rumour that wont go away is the availability of the Beatles catalogue.

Apple Tablet…

Personally, I think they are highly likely, but not this week. Possibly an announcement on their production progress, but from insider reports 2010 seems more reasonable.

Others…

TomTom’s GPS dock for iPhone and Touch. iPhone OS 3.1 that’s been in beta for a while. Bluetooth headset for the iPhone – and more, we hope!
