Analysing Absa's Rewards tier points changes

This is utter nonsense. Rewards dwindled, they made it free, and now I'm getting less than the R23 fee it was originally. Lol

Must have been paying out too much.
doubt, look at the requirements just to get to tier 2 and then check the possible rewards....

I did better with PnP Smartshopper than with ABSA rewards, I think I only got about R200 in rewards for 2023.

Strange. Never had a homeloan or car loan but still managed an average of R200-R500 p/m on tier 2

Almost impossible to get Tier 3 or more unless you have those long term loan products.

I have a homeloan lol. They are just useless. Might as well can the "benefit"

But do you have a transactional, credit card and a savings product with them?
Should achieve Tier 2 or more then.

Yes, had for years. I just don't bother to query it. Every time something changes it's just a lot of hoops to jump through to listed to nonsense.
