I'm sure this can be done but I'm a bit too lazy to bother finding out how. I am interested in the results though, from a purely curious stand point.

City Power tweets about outages. They give the name of the area. Later they give a notice that it has been restored and a reason.

I've noticed that the reasons tend to be cable fault or cable theft in the main. Sometimes they have equipment failure.

It should be possible to check the frequency of outages by area, the time take to restore, and the reason.

If there are repetitive cable faults, for example, why are they replacing crap cables with more crap cables?

Yes, I'm sure that the response time isn't going to be an exact but it could show where they take longer than 4 hours to fix stuff.

Any ideas?
