Price point was pretty good, and didn't repulse the interested consumers....PS2 was definitely a option...coming in at under half the price, larger library, similar hardware...
But with casual gamers, not the most loyal or lavish-spenders...recession hits and they stop buying games...(not that nintendo's really being putting anything great out)...
I still find the pricing of consoles a moot point because of the HIGH prices of games...R700 a game ? every 5 games... u could buy a new PS3, every 4... and u could buy a wii.....every 3 .....an Arcade and every 2....you could get a PS2...crazy !
