Anand Ramachandran, CFA is the Head of Telecoms, Internet and Media Sector, Head of Asia Ex-Japan Equity Research at Barclays PLC since March 1, 2013.
He is responsible for establishing and leading the telecoms, internet and media sector research team across Asia Ex-Japan region. Most recently, Mr. Ramachandran served as the Managing Director, TMT Global Banking at Citigroup Inc. Previously, he served as Deputy Head of Pan Asian Research and Head of Asia Entertainment, Media and Telecoms Research at Citigroup Inc, Research Division (Citi Investment Research and Analysis). He served as a Research Analyst of Dresdner Kleinwort, Research Division. Earlier, he served as Equity Analyst at Macquarie Research.
