From all I can see, the anc is in a death spiral. There is no way to "pull up" or avoid their apparent demise. While they may have started out with really positive goals and intentions (laud them for that), everything the party has done has committed it to doom.
The anc has done nothing to address countless examples of corruption, destruction, enrichment, maleficence or plundering in the past 25 - 30 years. Saying something versus actually making it happen is where the anc has failed so miserably.
The majority of its policies and actions have been hellbent enrichment of a few and destructive to this great country. They can claim historical apartheid or any other such despicable things, but in 30+ years this should have been more than enough time to make a difference. Sadly, the only difference the anc has made is to steer the country into destruction.
I can only hope their demise is quick and without too much consequence to South Africa. Whoever rises in their place, their plan forward will be exceptionally challenging to make a reality.
