Senior members of the ANC blamed a range of factors outside their control for an electricity crisis that one major ally said is likely to cost the party victory in next year’s elections.

They'll probably still govern but through coalition. No ways they're winning. No amount of promises and lip service is going to suddenly keep the power on and there's no more money left to throw at the problem.
