Yeah, but that's my point.

Sometimes heavyweights in the party who misstep get shipped to some craphole country as 'punishment', when they can't really publicly denounce them.

AFAIK they are separated...

Be careful not to taint Stone Sizani with the actions of his wife. His resignation is a major blow for the ANC as he is one of the few principled members that they had.

Diplomatic immunity does not extend to your home country, it's only applicable to diplomats residing in foreign countries for crimes committed in said foreign country.

Why is the song "10 Green Bottles" stuck in my head?

Johannesburg - ANC spokesperson Keith Khoza has resigned, the ruling party said on Friday.

"The African National Congress regretfully announces the resignation of Comrade Keith Khoza as National Communications Manager of the ANC, effective 1 March 2016," national spokesperson Zizi Kodwa said in a brief statement.

He was rejoining the public service in Gauteng.

"Since joining the administrative corps of the ANC, Comrade Keith has been an invaluable part of the Department of Information and Publicity and the ANC at large, selflessly serving the movement and for this we thank him."

"We are confident he will not be lost to the ANC communications machinery and we wish him nothing but the very best in his future."

This was the second senior resignation in the African National Congress this week. Chief Whip Stone Sizani resigned from Parliament on Wednesday.

That is the biggest part of this..

Lots of not so subtle hints that allegiances are shifting, and the Gauteng ANC seems to be the epicentre of that anti-Zuma faction for the moment.

I think they have to if the ANC wants to stand a chance in Gauteng.
