ANC Confident for Elections

Have you ever heard a party come out before an election and say, "ya...we're gonna get slaughtered in this election."

Of course they're going to say that they are confident. Just like they said they were confident the DA wouldn't win Cape Town, or the Western Cape, or pretty much every area that is now owned by another party.

Looking at their results over the elections:

1994 | 62.65%
1999 | 66.35%
2004 | 69.69%
2009 | 65.90%

So another 6% will bring it to under 60% for the first time ever - it would be pretty significant actually.

I'm willing to bet they won't. Between 2004 and 2009 there were around 1 million extra voters ('09 elections) and the ANC dropped almost 4%.

Yes I was gonna say they were going to just bus in a lot of supporters into the "affected areas" to give them the election ballot counts the necessary "treatment" Robert Mugabe style.
