I don't know about anyone else but I'm really finding the ANC's two-faced double standards to be insulting.

The party’s chief whip in the provincial legislature Cyril Xaba said the remarks attributed to Cele were “neither offensive nor unparliamentary”.

yet asking questions about the ability of our health minister to perform her job are ?

They obviously just don't give a f@#%k what anyone thinks

IIRC the IFP did work with the previous goverment. Will have to do some digging on the subject.

On the face of it, I would have to say the IFP is trying to sweep its past under the carpet. :D

ANC and double standards? Never! They are honest to the hilt... Why is the rum always finished? *hic*

You're probably right there.

However my problem is with the comments from Cele automatically being classified as “neither offensive nor unparliamentary” just because he's from the ANC. This seems to be a trend of denialism the ANC is resorting to everytime they are challenged. do they think we are stupid ? i think they don't care either way. Their attitude seems modelled on the "Ek is die baas, en ek se shaddup" attitude of our previous government

The truth is that they don't care about us. In the big picture the informed educated populace of SA is irrelevant to the ANC as they get there power from the uninformed, uneducated masses. That is why they try so hard to control the media and limit the free flow of information (think telkom).

That may also be why our public education system is in the crapper.

They must get another judge to probe whether "Buthelezi benefited from money provided by the apartheid government"? I just wonder how much do these lawyers, retired judges etc charge for these commissions and inquiries?
