ANC - food for vote

I heard a brief snippet on 702 about this but don't seem to be able to find anything futher in the news

Apparently food vouchers were handed out to people yesterday with the message accompanying the handout being if you vote for the ANC in the upcoming election you get a voucher (R960 which could be redeemed and your closest Spar)

Not sure if anyone else heard anything or even if it's anywhere close to being true.

I highly doubt that it is true, but if it is DAM THOSE ANC BUGGERS!
 
So what, if they vote for Helen, they will get better roads, decent houses, safer environments, improved schooling, among other needs, instead of a R960 food voucher. don't sell out for small change, if you going to sell your vote go for the real jackpot.

Please tell me you guys heard that blithering idiot - the spokeman for the Gauteng MEC -just now on 702 about this issue?

You and I may know that mate, but I reckon for many poverty stricken people it's about immediate needs ... and 960 Rhondt is a fair amount of tin when you've had to make do with far less

I'll vote for any party that wants to give me a voucher for food, because when i'm standing in that little cubicle only i know where the X goes, but i'll tell them what ever they want to hear.
 
Now there is a interesting answer. Take the voucher and vote with your mind and claim to vote for the ANC in the exit pole. Unless the ANC start demanding that you photograph your X with your cellphone, before you get your voucher .......

That is not the issue. The REAL issue here is that they bring poor, uninformed, illiterate people under the impression that you can only get social security if you vote ANC.

FFS! This gets given to people, no matter who the government of the day is and the voters need to know that.

Poor, uninformed and illiterate people get told that there are ways in which the ANC will find out if you did not vote for them.

Was on news24 this morning. The ANC denied it, yet the Sowetan reported that bra Inkwenkwe was doing the same in Soweto for his birthday...

In previous elections... Supporters were promised BMWs if they voted ANC.
Now its just a R960 voucher?

Sheesh, time MUST be tough...

What do I get if I vote for Obama?

Laaaik 2 bucks? 5 bucks?

Coz that's even cheaper than what the ANC is offering... I don't think I'm going to vote for Obama in this election!
