Plenty of egg on the faces on his defenders in parliament...going to be interesting, how the debate on his SONA plays out. Starting to dawn on them, Number One comes first..not the party nor the country.
 
Fun times ahead.. I think it might mean a few of the top party officials will be retiring permanently from politics.

Will have to wait and see when he gets impeached and I won't be surprised if the opposition, known they have a strong case, waits till just prior to elections as that would kill the ANCs chances when there is 1-3 week damning report in the media just prior to elections.

Might be when the rand strengthens

Although good in theory.The rural areas are ANC strongholds .They immune to any news or bad press.They vote for their grants

Defending Jacob and blocking impeachment would be tantamount to supporting his defiance to comply with a lawful instruction. If they do not defend or block impeachment, it is a massive blow against the party ahead of elections. Catch 22 scenarios do not get too more impossible than this.

Have to agree. The president is the leader of the ANC. Very convenient for so called senior members to now make it public they disagreed with the person who IS the ruling party.
 
I read this yesterday. I don't think there is a anything to it.

Everyone now trying to save their own ass. If they disagreed with it then they should have held him accountable as required by law, but they sat on it for 2 years. Along with Zuma, they should now all be held accountable IMO...
 
I think there are plans afoot to put Cyril Ram a poser into the job.

In the shift, the lackeys are all making plans to creep up the new bosses port and this is part of the process.

Last year - if if JZ did the most remarkably stupid things (as he does) - the lackeys supported him 100%, now they are trying to distance themselves - seeing the dung getting very close to the proverbial fan.

This article speaks to caliber of the ANC leaders, self preservation and loyalty - or lack thereof.
 
They backed a loser, now after the big reveal they're complaining the loser is actually a loser lol!
 
To save face, ANC should rather recall him than DA and EFF having him impeached. It's seriously not looking good for ANC at this time and the whole issue refuses to be swept under the carpet. Either way the matter needs to be sorted soon seeing as the local elections must be held by 16th August.

Edit: To add, ANC dancing around the debacle is not helping them. Zuma is only going to rat some more. :D

Pretty much. Add in scrapping at the same trough over sloppy seconds for the past few years and the picture is complete. Leadership material...not.

Yeah I cant see that happening in a whoop a$$ election, they might still win most of what they still have but it wont be a land slide win.

People realize everyday more and more there is trouble.
Paying roughly R13 - R15 a loaf of bread will not buy loyalty for long.
