ANC playing a dangerous game

The ANC’s refusal to address key US demands amid escalating trade tariffs and diplomatic pressure risks worsening South Africa’s already fragile economic and fiscal position.
 
One of their demands is we withdraw our actions against Israel.

Netanyahu is pushing this. He really does not like being called out for human right abuses.

I think we are on the right side of history on this one. Im actually surprised the ANC are willing to risk loss on a good moral stance.

You really think the ANC is doing this out of a “moral” standpoint, and that the ANC cares one iota about the plight of Palestinian people?

The ANC has to drive this case against Isreal, because Iran is telling them to, and it’s a condition for the Iranian regime to continue to fund the ANCs budget shortfalls. The fact that it is also an easy way to score some political points and hopefully secure the Malay Muslim vote in the WC in the upcoming municipal election is just an added bonus.

There isn’t an ounce of morals in any ANC leaders rubber spine. They are a disgusting bunch of thugs. The targeted US sanctions couldn’t come soon enough

The ordinary South African, yes, but they dont care since they keep voting for the same people.

This is exactly the trouble with ineptocrats. When you are as ill equipped for your positions of power as what 99% off our current leadership is, then you are incapable of seeing the pitfalls of your actions.

We all sit here, jaws agape, in total disbelief trying to understand why or how these muppets can dance so brazenly with Iran, while our real trade partners, the ones who actually keep our economy afloat look on in disgust. When in reality, they are too stupid to realise what the fallout of this will actually mean. They probably really do believe they are building new meaningful relations

That is only true if you take the view that they have the country and the peoples best interest at heart. If you understand that they are only interested in their own self enrichment and power and couldn't give a **** if people die as long as they can feed their loot and ego it makes more sense.
