I'm looking for some ancient PC100 100mhz, 128/256mb, yes megabytes, ram.
Ideally a stick of Kingston KVR100x64c2 128/256. It was first manufactured back in 2002, so it's that old now.

I can grab some off Amazon, but don't want to go through that shelp yet.

Willing to pay a reasonable ammount and shipping of course if anyone has some.

P.S Mods apologies if this is in the wrong spot or not permitted.

I might have a 512mb ram at home, will have a look.

Where are you situated, I dont have that specific kingston ram, but definitely do have some spare PC100 100mhz SDram at home, motherboards from back then are extremely picky so would suggest if your in Pinetown to come past my place with the system and test :)

In Durban south, based in Durban south but it's for an ancient cutting table, so it's not possbile.

Do you know the pin count on the DIMM?

I have a bunch of old hardware I can sift through. If memory serves PC100 came in 144 pin and 168 pin versions?

Yeah 168 pin.

I've got some from FaSMan with much thanks.

Typically now I have it the machine is behaving with the original ram.

Pity the same tactic doesn't work with kids.
