Johannesburg - The ANC Youth League has advised Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu to tell himself every hour that Jacob Zuma would be president of the country after the April 22 elections.

"Once again, the ANCYL advises Archbishop Tutu to repeat every hour (even on his prayers) until the 23rd of April 2009 that president Jacob Zuma is president of South Africa," the league said in a statement on Friday.

"By doing so, he will be joining millions of South Africans; including opposition parties who have internalised the fact that president Jacob Zuma is the incoming president of the South Africa."

Their advice was in response to Tutu's comments earlier this week that he was not looking forward to a Zuma presidency and that Zuma's corruption case should be determined in court.

I already do this. Just 1 of the many things I do to remind myself of how low SA can go!

I will hose myself if/when another party wins the elections on the 22nd.

There have been some independent estimates of the ANC getting as low as 45% of the vote (I think this is extremely wishful thinking, but for the sake of hypothesising lets just assume). The oppositions could effectively form a coalition government with 51% of the vote and choose their own candidate for president. Could you imagine the look on Zuma's and Malema's faces if they have to address Madam President Zille? I would tune into Parliament TV every day for a week!

Aaaahhh doesn't hurt to dream hey :( if ownly this would be the case I to would watch Parliament TV for a month *Crosses heart*

Malema is so thick.

Tutu isn't saying "Zuma won't be president", he is saying he is not looking forward to the inevitable presidency of Zuma. But what do you expect from someone with the intelligence of a 5 yr old. (No offense to 5 yr olds intended).

slightly off the topic here: electronic voting systems, so much quicker to calculate the winning party, however so much more difficult to amend / or unlawfully add more votes!!!

IEC <> independant

Im getting to a point where i wish i had enough military training to hunt these bastards down and take them out of society completely. First Zuma, then Malema and all their cronies.. We can stop the **** by getting rid of the a$$h0les..

Enough talk, its time for action..

I like you have been thinking the exact same thing. PM me your skillset and lets get this revoloution on the go! Viva la revoloution Viva!

/polishes rifle scope.

Like drug dealers, you will not get rid of them. Take out one fool and tomorrow there will be plenty more fools to take their place. Violence is not the answer.

I agree violence is not the answer but what Surv0 said rings true, "it is the time for action", not necessarily violence [would prefer it though :p] but action none the less. We as a nation need to wake up and smell the recession. If we don't and the current government is left to govern, than I fear for the worst.

Do not forget Old Bob.

I think that Zuma should achieve his full potential and more on towards enlightenment and martyrdom. Then maybe we can also move on here in South Africa

Why not just slag off all the Nobel Laureates - Madiba will be next.

The Anc and their kindergarten dept are a disgrace and Nelson must be so disillusioned.

I have a feeling he has already started taking turning classes so when he eventually pops his clogs he can do so with ease in his grave....:D
