I think he was referring to the ANCYL members

What's the reasonable assumption here? That "those" refers to the people in his post or that "those" refers to ANCYL members? I would go with the first because this breakfast includes senior ANC officials as well not just ANCYL members so unless you knew that three of these four are dead you could reasonably assume that you would get to have breakfast with them.
