Ya, I watched it. I also read the article. Slamming your mother into the pavement and trying to grab an officer's taser and that's what happens.
 
As far as his mental illness goes, well, "prick" may have been excessive. Depends what his disorder is. If it were, say, someone with Down's syndrome receiving that treatment I doubt I'd even be able to watch the video. Same goes for caregivers dishing it out.

The cops, on the other hand, likely just responded to the situation in front of them.
 
That definitely looks like excessive force. You can see at the end he's being restrained and the one officer continues to beat him.
 
It looks like at the end he almost got away. It is a good thing that the police neutralised him.

They should be in facilities that cater for violent mentally ill people.
One could say half of bomb planters and supporters should go to the same place.

All mentally ill people doesn't look like they are harmful. Most parents will tell you that they are harmless.. Until the police is called.

Seems like he got what he was dishing out.
 
Was a mentally ill guy that ate a homeless man's face off :erm:
