So I am on the Internet last night. I have hundreds of megs left for this month. I check my Gmail and all of a sudden I get disconnected. For the past day I have been trying to get back on but I carry on getting an error message saying that the username and password are incorrect on the network or something. So I reckon that they have disconnected me because I have reached my cap so I phone them and they say that my account is fine, I have data left and they have disabled me. So how did my password and username all of a sudden get messed up? They are so useless...
 
Apparently there was "an open session" on their base station and that is why it was rejecting the username and password. *sigh* Has this happened to anybody else?
 
Open sessions locking up an account are a common problem on Sentech MyWireless. Sometimes this problem is caused by people not disconnecting in the correct fashion but rather by simply unplugging their system or switching off their phone. So save yourself a headache and disconnect "properly" if possible.

Thanks for the heads up. I will make sure that I disconnect properly in the future. I still think that it is dumb that the system can't pick up that I have sent or received data or even responded to a ping in 48hours and then disconnect me automatically!!

Me too.I was beginning to think I also had maxed out the extra 400 they allow after hitting one's.

I personally don't think I'm going to renew my contract because these days I always get the "improve your signal" message and its affecting my work.I promise some people I'm working for that I'm going to be committing code I've written for them into their repository, and guess what , I fail to do it because the connection is down.
