Andre de Ruyter leaves Eskom with immediate effect

Amazing that so many seem to so surprised...
I think its obvious most people ignore politics and so ignore what was busy happening at Eskom. Now that an ex Eskom CEO was so blunt about whats happening, I believe its impossible to still ignore (well I hope I guess). Still have my doubts anything will change, and even the Andre said as much. Eskom will never be fixed, to fix loadshedding private entities need to build new power generation.

Happy days right!

Give it a watch.

Does anyone have a link to the interview being discussed here? It’s de Ruiter’s talk two days ago. Seems this has been furiously removed from YouTube by the cowards who placed us in this mess.
Anyone?

And any president in any country with the people’s interests at heart would do such a thing.

Unfortunately the ANC don’t give a fsck about the people, only themselves so business as usual.

As you were.

Pretty sure if you look deep enough you will find his hand in the bucket as well.

Top Deck chocolate

André de Ruyter had a year from hell – and then he lost...

The president should have de Ruyter front and centre explaining himself and slap him until he tells who he he is implicating. Put the accused under house arrest, have a thorough investigation and fire the SOBs and charge them with treason.
Is this common for a president of any country ? I don't leave house much and very poor internet speed but you seem well traveled so quite keen to know.

This is they same guy who spent 9 years as deputy to the guy responsible for state capture.
The guy who had no idea that there was any corruption taking place.

I am sure Cyril will be shocked to learn that a minister of his is guilty of corruption.
Because anything that comes out of the mouth of our saviour is the gospel truth, no need for an investigation or a trial, just declare them guilty and hang them because De Ruyter has spoken?

Do you guys ever listen to the things you say?

I am not a socialist or communist. No saviour for me. Got to sort my own kuk out.

Deeds are what matter, not words. Look at the actions and outcomes in this situation rather.
R350 knee guards sold to Eskom for R80,000. No one in jail. R100,000,000 fuel theft with R500 bail, no jail.
You’re either FOR it, or AGAINST it. Stop hiding behind your smug sanctimony and decide.

Why because Eskom is running so well and there is a surplus of funds and we have so much electricity we can sell the excess off to neighboring countries to help the plight of the millions of destitute people in SA ?

If you cant see that something is wrong at ESKOM and that the ANC has plundered it then you are either retarded or purposefully being obtuse just because.

His surname belongs to my little tribe. I have to support him no matter what.

So when he points the finger he has to leave .
Just shows what a sorry state the utility is in.

All the others are probably complicit.
I think he wanted to go early and they were holding him to his notice period (For what reason I don't know)

So he just pulled his escape chute.

Curiously, the media statement follows an hour-long interview between De Ruyter and E-tv’s Annika Larsen.

The outgoing CEO said he believes South African politicians — particularly those in the ANC — are complicit in corruption and power station sabotage that has hammered the utility.

I think he has been holding back on this for quite a while - so must be a strategic decision. Hopefully its timed right.

I think it was definitely a plan to doing this interview, potentially because there was an attempt on his life, and possible too that he wants to use the last bit of time he has a voice to bring all of this to light.
Interesting that the person responsible for making his cyanide laced coffee has disappeared. I wonder why?

Sleeping with the fishies, so he can't tell who paid him to do it.

We need a new crisis. I'd like to hear
The morning shot video is 100% accurate . We need a tax revolt as why should they party with our hard earned money . Eskom not there to provide power but feeding trough .
I just paid SARS this morning and it was the single most grudging payment I've ever made. I know very little if any of it will go into the country.
