Hi Guys,

im just a general c# programmer but looking into andriod development, i know 0% of it and want to get the foundation ,yes google will help but i prefare to learn from a course i learn quicker and understand when someone explains the basic in's and out's any help as to where to start looking ?

To be honest I started with Googles own material - http://developer.android.com/training/basics/firstapp/index.html

If you look on the left pane you can see all the incremental tutorials that help you learn some basics. Advanced UI/UX stuff should be only looked at after

He's got a specific playlist Android Development Tutorial. Very structured and easy to follow. I definitely recommend it.

I've never used javascript when building my apps :wtf: Apps are written in pure Java..

Isn't C# MS's version of Java? I believe the syntax is similar OP so you shouldn't have a problem

OP, if this is just a curiosity thing. I'd suggest using Google's own introduction to Android development.

Then if you really like it, I'd suggest getting something behind your name like an official course.
