Android 2.3 is here!

Yay! and Sony Ericsson just announced they've started working on a 2.2 update. :mad: ****ers....
 
Can't wait for LeeDroid to get his hands on this :)
 
Luckily the hardware of the GNS and SGS are quite similar, which means all us SGS owners would be getting a nice, freshly baked Gingerbread courtesy of the folks at XDA! :D

The first experimental 2.3 ROM for the Desire is out over at XDA. I love having a phone with a big following over there! :D It has become something that will strongly factor into my future phone buying decisions.
 
i guess i'll be updating a custom rom fairly soon.
 
As soon as the first stable gingerbread rom comes out I'm upgrading my desire to it :)

I tried the new keyboard ported over to my Galaxy S. Very nice, especially the multi-touch implementation. Can even hit 5 keys at once, not that there's any point in that.
Seems very good at automatically correcting you, it's based on Blindtype apparently. Even corrects you sometimes when you miss the keyboard entirely.
