I haven't yet. Still waiting for a proper release. Which one did you install? Where's the link?

This is a beta ROM, Plenty of bugs, some stability issues.. stick to 2.3.6 of you want stable roms, or go the the CM9 rom..

I would rather try a CM9 or ASOP build than a leak.

My DHD is on Quattro an ASOP build and dont have any issues with either the market or Talk.

Also have you tried removing your account and adding it again?

Your errors sounds like you did not do a proper wipe when installing, you need to clean data, cache and dalvick cache when installing, you may also want to run the permission fix on your CM Rom Manager.

Only when upgrading between patch versions of roms is it ok to not do a full wipe, if not your likely to end up with all sorts of problems

Have not had a single crash on my Nexus S so far, very impressed with CM9, added on the glados kernel, few nice features, little faster and 20mb less ram used. Best part is DeepIdle, google really needs to implement it into official roms like they were supposed to. Used to use about 10-15% while sleeping, 7-8 hours, last night i made a point of checking and i used 2% thanks to deep idle.

Pity Galnet removed the ICS merge :( I have a feeling it had to do with the SDK level14+ API's that did not work 100%

Anyway if you can always install the Black Ice theme onto your phone and get something that looks like this

Intratech has just posted this:

XXLPB
Android 4.0.3 (IceCream Sandwich, IceCream Sammich, ICS, OMG it haz teh TouchWIZ!!!!, Why no haz ICS Launcher? blah blah blah)

This is still BETA firmware so don't moan if everything doesn't work. It comes with old bootloader and is non-wipe
This package has: PDA: XXLPB| Modem/phone: XXLPB| CSC: XEUKH2
Download: http://uploadmirrors.com/download/1K...I9100XEUKH2.7z

XXLPB Stock Kernel: http://uploadmirrors.com/download/1Q..._I9100XXLPB.7z
Password: intratech@XDA

I've been using it since yesterday. I've had no crashes so far and everything I've checked works. There was one instance where my HSDPA connection was a bit funny but since it only occurred once I figured it was more network coverage issue as opposed to the firmware. This is the longest I have kept a ICS firmware on the device and that's saying a lot.

If people want it I will upload a non-wipe XEU Frankenstein version that I've been using since I now consider this firmware something one can kick it with on their device.

It's feels smooth mostly. I have experienced some lag on a few occasions whilst doing random things on the device but since it's still BETA software this can happen.

Rather get the xda versions like CM9 and AOSP based ones. The Touchwiz stuff really hides the beauty of Android ICS

Wipe cache will fix this problem, if not then reinstall gapps then wipe cache

I've been using the Intratech version since its release without any issues. This is the only beta that I've tried of ICS thus far.

Used the Intratech upload of LPB for a day with no issues, but then switched to the most recent Cyanogen. Running that for the last two days - some menu items are still just placeholders, but it's been completely stable, with much better battery life than LPB in my experience: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410400

Well depends if you can live with the bugs

  • RIL: Sending SMS might crash rild
  • RIL: 2g/3g toggle not working
  • RIL: network search not implemented yet
  • Storage: MTP File Transfer partially broken (USB Sharing)
  • Storage: Media Scanner makes CPU going crazy, device gets hot, battery goes down
  • Video: HW codecs aren't used
  • Video: Wrong Pixel format (green line on Youtube, wrong colors)
  • Camera: video recording broken
  • Camera: Crashes are possible when switching resolution
  • Camera: crashes when using face effects
  • FM Radio: not implemented
  • TV Out: not working yet
  • Secure Containers: Installing of big apps fails.

- Not fixable without sources, Samsung seems to do some signature magic.
- Yeah, they're starting to lock things down!

I have picked up some issues with my DHD on ICS ROM's as well, its not as smooth as MIUI so I have a feeling I am going back to 2.3.7

Not sure which 4.0.3 you are running, maybe provide some details...

I am on the LPB built with CF-root and have not had a single issue. Market is fine and so is gtalk. If you're on an older version of 4.0.3 install LPB. Otherwise root and install CWM, wipe cache and reflash.
