Android 4.0 Mini PC

Ye. Not fiddled anymore though. Have to code day and night during the week with only Tues night off. When I do take a 2 hour gap I play MW3 :)

I will be fiddling more tomorrow night. Just trying to get my hands on a decent USB Hub w/Ethernet port as streaming movies can be painful via the wifi with all my other devices on. Struggling to find stock though.

How you going with this device?

On the shelf at the moment. Purchased 2 * bluetooth keyboards - neither work. Also got a USB/Ethernet adapter. Not working.

There is a firmware coming that has better support for these devices so just waiting now. Thankfully my Roku2 XS arrived and is perfect for Plex so kept me satisfied as this is what I was trying to achieve with the Mini Android.

Currently running CM9 on the device. Very nice.

When the firmware arrives, I will flash and give this whole lot another run. The Mini Android has to live behind me on the component rack so operating via mouse and keyboard is a no go. Also don't want to stream HD movies over wifi. I have too many wireless devices in my house and it causes havoc.

Hi Mike,

have you checked out this model yet - http://youtu.be/tQtXoxZcrSM

Smokes the galaxy nexus on Antutu benchmark with a score of 6800+ .

My 512MB MK802 scored under 2000.

Woah. That is freaking insane. These mini efforts seem to be evolving at a rapid rate.

I should have my sample by next week(hopefully). And will then try my hand at some HD movies, Counterstike compact etc. there is currently one manufacturer in China selling these. The first 60 is ready to be shipped and I am getting one. I have promoted it for the supplier online and received 22000 hits on the first video in a week. This one will sell very fast. Best part is it is only slightly more expensive than the MK802 - Will price for around R 1100 - R1200 once I have my stock.

If you can get this thing hooked up with a bluetooth keyboard and an ethernet cable, I will take 1. Maybe 2. Perhaps 3 :)
All I want is Android on all my TV's with a wired connection and a paired BT KB. Sorted.

I take you do not want the wifi flymouse combo? That should work better than bluetooth no? http://youtu.be/Aq72jayTOkI

Mike: you tried the new plex android app on this? Looks like these might be better devices then Roku's.
