My Nexus 7 is still running version 4.1. Any idea how to get 4.2.2 as the software says the device is up to date....

Try plugging it into charger before checking for updates... Restart it for good measure once connected to power...

Best you can hope for is 4.2.1 because 4.2.2 is not out yet.
If I were you I'd stick to 4.1 for now until 4.2.2 is available as 4.2.0 introduced some nastiness as far as December goes and reportedly ruined the project butter "smoothness" of the UI. Also bluetooth is fooked in 4.2.0 and 4.2.1
My 2c - use it or don't ;)

Am not getting any joy. Have read somewhere that it only works on a 85%+ charged battery. Did that, got the update, downloaded it twice as first time nothing happened. After the restart (on power), it still is on operating system 4.1.2.

I am actually quite keen on the update as it has the dual user functionality. So am willing to take the chance and knowing that the next update is not far away....

Does anyone know who one can contact for support (email, etc)??

Get the download (4.2.2 all 90meg of it) and when it shuts down and installs the android icon gets a red triangle with an exclamation mark inside. No reason why this is happening and I have tried this several times now with same result.

I got 4.2.2 pushed to me today on my Nexus 7. I was on about 70% battery and I was reading a Walking Dead comic at lunchtime when the file was downloaded without me knowing. So I heard a notification beep, had a look and unknown to me, it had downloaded the 53mb update and I only had to restart to install.

I'm in Senegal just now btw, but have no idea in what order or region or whatever these things get rolled out in? I'd been checking for the last 3 days and the day I never checked, it checked itself. So don't worry, it'll come to you very shortly I'm sure.

Problem is that I am getting the update - problem occurs when rebooting. I am on 4.1.2 and the update is over 90mb. Last time I had the unit plugged in and power over 90%.

Ah, I see now. Have you tried reading through xda forums? There's a few threads on there in the Q&A section by the looks of it.
