Sammobile had a Lollipop Galaxy S5 ROM, but said it was too unstable to make available for download.

Might be with us sooner than we think.

Why would you not upgrade to Lollipop at the first possible opportunity? It's a huge improvement over KitKat in every conceivable way.

For me it depends, I need root and also use a custom kernel.

It would prevent me from having Xposed. On the S5, that is a big issue for me. Not so much on the N5.

Only if you plan on running experimental ROM's. Should be perfectly fine if it's a stock or otherwise stable upgrade.

Lollipop runs ART. Xposed only works on Dalvik (for now). It is unsure of Xposed will ever be able to run properly on ART. There are many restrictions

The improvements brought by Lollipop are worth ditching Xposed for. You'll be ditching it eventually anyway if it can't move with the times.

I already use Lollipop on my N5. Love it. But like I said, I will not rush getting it on the S5 because TW.

And from your post, you don't seem to use Xposed. They have great modules that even Lollipop doesn't cater for
