I often wonder what security holes apps like AdAway come with. One might be opening your phone up to much worse.

I doubt it. It's open-source and widely accepted in the Android community. If it was doing anything untoward it'd be found out soon enough.

Again, another reason why I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE MIUI.

But I can see ads being a problem for normal users. esp those that dont root.

I often wonder what security holes apps like AdAway come with. One might be opening your phone up to much worse.

I guess a way around that seeing that you need to be rooted is to install AdAway to block ads, and block internet access to Adway. or just to simply install Droidwall, which is open source so you know that if there is crap in it someone will pick up
